Manhattan Side Table
Mahogany wood with brass inlays and marble cover built with different combinations of marble and brass trimmings.
This table reveals a strong geometrical presence with combinations of materials that are characteristic of Art Deco. We named this table the Manhattan side table because Art Deco was a major force in the cultural and artistic history of the 20th century, with New York at its center. This table celebrates New York ́s leading role in the unique aesthetic of the 1920 ́s and 1930 ́s in decorative arts, architecture, design, entertainment, and fashion.
